Traditional smoked sausage made out of pork meat with added crashed juniper berries. It is smoked with oak wood and a tiny amount of juniper to give it even more beautiful fragrance. Very popular in Eastern Europe especially around Christmas. 

This is a good alternative if you like smoked sausage but not too keen on garlic, there is no garlic here.

Great eaten cold on a slice of fresh bread or grilled, BBQ'ed or fried. fantastic charcuterie board staple.
